Experience Your Working River

Throughout the year, the Port of New Orleans offers riverside tours of our Uptown New Orleans facilities on a limited basis to local groups and organizations. These tours help to provide a rare first-hand look at the working river and its positive impact within our region and state.

Boat Tour Information

• All passengers must be at least 18 years of age.
• The visit and boat tour lasts about one hour and thirty minutes.
• Boat tours are hosted on the Gen. Roy S. Kelley Fireboat, which is an active emergency vessel. Tours can be cancelled at any time should an official need for the vessel arrive.
• Port of New Orleans boat tours are contingent on the weather and can be cancelled at any time.
